SILK ROAD CATALYST are a MULTI-NATIONAL family of DISCIPLE-MAKERS engaging the LEAST REACHED on the SILK ROADthrough a PRESENCE OF LEGITIMACY.
We are MULTI-NATIONAL. We are a global family from multiple countries serving God together, working to ensure every person in every city, town and village has access to the Gospel and a Biblical Community. Currently, we have one sending base in the USA, one in South Asia and more in the works.
We emphasize DISCIPLE-MAKING because planting a church does not necessarily produce disciples. But, if you make disciples you will always plant a church.
We serve the LEAST REACHED because they have the least access to the Gospel and the fewest Biblical Communities. Sadly, may have zero access to both.
The SILK ROAD is where we engage in ministry because it is home to over 95% of the world's definable Least Reached peoples.
We engage the Least Reached through a PRESENCE OF LEGITIMACY. Many communities on the Silk Road do not welcome traditional missionaries. Therefore, we enter these communities as Tent-makers, Business As Mission practitioners, language students and more. Regardless of our reason, we leverage our skills through avenues seen as legitimate in the eyes of the locals we serve among.
